Lucis Art 2
Go Wild - Use LucisArt Effects Multiple times on an Image

original flowers

The image to the left is the original image. Subsequent image variations were created by applying LucisArt 3 ED and LucisArt 3 SE effects sequentially to this image. No other adjustments were made except the LucisArt processing. So of course these images would have to be further refined using Photoshop. The point is that LucisArt 3 ED/SE is a great source of creativity.

Seven image variations are shown here. there were created in less than 30 minutes. I will add more variations at a later date.

The image to the left (Variation 1) was creating by setting the Enhance Detail slider in LucisArt 3 ED to 15 and then mixing in 55% of the original image. Image detail is shown above.

The image to the left (variation 2) was created in two steps. First create an interim image by setting the Enhance Detail slider in LucisArt 3 ED to 15 and then mixing in 55% of the original image. (This was the image Variation 1.) Then bring this interim image into LucisArt 3 SE and apply the Sculpture Special effect with the Smooth Detail slider at 137and the Strength setting at 4. Image detail is shown above.

The image to the left (variation 3) was created in two steps. First create an interim image by setting the Enhance Detail slider in LucisArt 3 ED to 15 and then mixing in 55% of the original image. (This was the image Variation 1.) Then bring this interim image into LucisArt 3 SE and apply the Winslow Special effect with the Smooth Detail slider at 61. Image detail is shown above.
The image to the left (Variation 4) was creating by using the special effects Winslow in LucisArt 3 SE and setting the Smooth Detail slider to 147. Image detail is shown above.

The image to the left (Variation 5) was created in two steps. First create an interim image by using the special effect Winslow in LucisArt 3 SE and setting the Smooth Detail slider to 147. (This is variation4.) Then bring this interim image in LucisArt 3 DE and move the Enhance Detail slider to 19. This enhances the smoothing effect created by using Winslow in the first step. Image detail is shown above.

The image to the left (Variation 6) was created in three steps. First create an interim image by using the special effect Winslow in LucisArt 3 SE and setting the Smooth Detail slider to 147. (This is variation 4.) Then bring this interim image into LucisArt 3 DE and move the Enhance Detail slider to 19. (This is Variation 5). Then bring this image into LucisArt 3 SE and apply the Plaid 1 special effect with the Smooth Detail slider set to 23 and the Strength set to 4. Image detail is shown above.

This image is very textured. It is used to create the image below (Variation 7).

The image to the left (Variation 7) was created by using layers in Photoshop. The image Variation 6 was place don one layer and the original image was placed on the layer above it. Then the opacity of the layer with the original image was set to 80%. This just adds some interesting detail which looks great but is hard to see in low-resolution web images. Image detail is shown above.
