Reveal Extreme Detail in Images

The Enhance Detail slider in LucisArt 3 ED provides the same level of control as the Enhance Detail slider in Lucis Pro 6.0 except 1) it only enhances 8-bit images and 2) LucisArt 3 ED does not have Split Channel mode where you can enhance the contrast variances in each RGB channel separately. The LucisArt 3 ED Enhance Detail slider can enhance contrast differences between pixels that are as small as 3 intensity levels. Detail is revealed throughout the image- in the bright dark and mid-range contrast areas.

You will note that some of the examples below are the same examples from the Lucis Pro 6.0 web site except that LucisArt 3 does not have the Lucis Pro 6.0 Assign Original Image Color slider to correct color shifts from the Lucis processing. So you will see some color shifts in the LucisArt 3 ED image when it is compared to the Lucis Pro 6.0 result.

Notice: the last image example is a semi-nude portrait of a woman.
